Tick and Flea Prevention That Actually Works

India's climate supports ticks and fleas year-round. The reason most control efforts fail is that they target the wrong 95%.

Where the parasites actually are

Only a small fraction of a flea population is on the animal at any moment. The rest — eggs, larvae, pupae — are in bedding, cracks, sofas and floor gaps. Ticks similarly spend most of their life off the host.

Product types

Spot-ons, oral isoxazolines and collars each have different durations and spectra. Oral products are unaffected by bathing and swimming, which matters for dogs groomed often.

Treat the environment

Wash all bedding at high temperature, vacuum thoroughly including crevices and discard the bag, and treat the premises where infestation is established.

Treat every animal in the house

Including the cat who never goes out. One untreated animal maintains the whole population.
