Master Terms & Conditions

1.1 Acceptance

These Terms govern the use of PetMitra's website, applications, marketplace, products, veterinary services, teleconsultation, grooming, bookings, delivery and other pet-care services.

By creating an account, placing an order, booking a service or using a service, the User agrees to the Master Terms and the applicable service-specific terms displayed before the transaction.

Where a specific service requires additional consent, the User must provide that consent before proceeding.

1.2 Nature of PetMitra's services

PetMitra may sell Products directly, facilitate marketplace sales, employ professionals, operate services or facilitate services through independent third-party providers.

The role of PetMitra for each transaction shall be identified through the relevant listing, order confirmation, invoice or booking information wherever applicable.

An independent veterinarian, pharmacist, groomer, vendor or other service provider remains responsible for their own professional or contractual duties to the extent imposed by applicable law.

PetMitra remains responsible for its own obligations under applicable law.

1.3 User responsibilities

Users must provide accurate information concerning themselves and their pets, including relevant medical history, current medicines, allergies, behavioural issues and service requirements.

Users must not submit fraudulent prescriptions, misrepresent ownership, misuse medicines, abuse service providers or use the Platform unlawfully.

1.4 Professional services

Veterinary diagnosis, treatment and prescriptions may be provided only by appropriately qualified and authorized professionals acting within their lawful scope.

Pharmacy dispensing must be undertaken through the legally required authorized channel.

Groomers and support staff must not independently provide veterinary diagnosis or prescription services unless separately qualified and legally authorized.

1.5 No guaranteed outcomes

PetMitra does not guarantee a particular veterinary treatment, grooming, training, boarding or behavioural outcome.

An adverse outcome does not automatically establish negligence. Responsibility must be determined from the actual facts, applicable professional standards and applicable law.

1.6 Liability and statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, mandatory consumer rights, or liability for a party's own unlawful conduct.

Any limitation of liability or indemnity applies only to the extent legally enforceable.

1.7 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory legal protections and jurisdictional rights.
