• Administration Instructions:

  • Always weigh the puppy on an accurate digital kitchen or postal scale immediately before each dose. Never estimate a puppy's weight.

Safety Warnings, Precautions & Contraindications

• CANINE PEDIATRIC USE ONLY (DO NOT USE IN CATS): Formulated specifically for canine nematode infections. Not indicated for felines.

• Minimum Age: Do not administer to puppies younger than 2 weeks of age.

• Contraindicated with Piperazine: Do not use concurrently with piperazine compounds. Piperazine acts as a GABA agonist (causing flaccid paralysis) and directly antagonizes the depolarizing spastic paralysis induced by pyrantel, rendering both treatments ineffective.

• Post-Dosing Stool Observation: Seeing intact, dead, or moribund worms passed in the stool within 24 to 48 hours post-administration is normal and indicates that the parasites are being cleared. Clean and disinfect bedding and potty areas thoroughly.

• Fecal Hygiene & Zoonotic Precaution: Canine roundworms (Toxocara canis) are zoonotic and can cause Visceral/Ocular Larva Migrans in humans. Always wear disposable gloves when cleaning puppy stool during the 48 hours following deworming.
