Directions for Use & Bathing Protocol

For topical dermal bathing on cats and kittens only:

1. Pre-Bath Preparation: Gently brush your cat with a slicker or wide-tooth comb to untangle knots and remove loose fur. Place a non-slip rubber mat in the sink or tub to help your cat feel secure.

2. Wetting the Coat: Use lukewarm water (around 37°C / body temperature) to thoroughly wet your cat's fur from behind the neck back to the tail. (Never pour water directly onto the head, ears, or face).

3. Application & Lather: Pour an adequate amount of Felicott into your hands and gently work it into the coat along the back, flanks, belly, and legs. Massage gently down to the skin until a rich, foamy lather covers the body.

4. Target High-Friction Zones: Gently massage lather into common problem areas—the base of the neck, armpits, belly, and groin—while avoiding the eyes, inside of ears, and mouth.

5. Contact Time (3 to 5 Minutes): Let the lather rest on the skin for 3 to 5 minutes so the colloidal oatmeal and aloe vera can hydrate the epidermis and soothe irritation.

6. Thorough Rinsing: Rinse with clean lukewarm water until the runoff is clear. Rinsing thoroughly ensures no shampoo residue remains for the cat to ingest while grooming afterward.

7. Drying & Brushing: Wrap your cat in a warm, absorbent cotton towel and pat dry gently. Keep the cat in a warm, draft-free room until fully dry before brushing the coat smooth.

8. Frequency: Use once every 2 to 4 weeks for regular grooming, or as recommended by your veterinarian for sensitive skin conditions.
