• Administration Instructions:

Safety Warnings, Precautions & Storage

• Stool Appearance: Oral iron supplementation commonly results in darker or greenish-black stools. This is normal and harmless.

• Severe Hemolytic Crisis Warning: If your pet exhibits extreme lethargy, white gums, jaundice, or reddish-brown urine (hemoglobinuria), seek emergency veterinary hospital care immediately for IV fluid stabilization or blood transfusion.

• Separation from Specific Antibiotics: High iron concentrations can chelate certain oral antibiotics (such as Doxycycline or fluoroquinolones), reducing their absorption. Administer Feritas at least 2 hours apart from oral antibiotic doses.

• Age Precaution: Not recommended for neonatal puppies or kittens under 45 days of age unless explicitly directed by a veterinarian.

• Storage: Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed after use. Keep strictly out of reach of children and domestic pets.
