Clinical & Preventative Indications

• Treatment and control of mixed adult and larval gastrointestinal nematode infections (Roundworms and Hookworms).

• Treatment and eradication of adult and immature cestode infections (Tapeworms), especially flea tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum).

• Prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis) when concurrent treatment against cestodes is indicated.

• Routine preventative quarterly deworming for adult domestic indoor and outdoor cats.

Dosage & Administration Guidelines

Weigh your cat accurately prior to dosing. Administer as a single oral dose with or directly after food:

• Administration Instructions:

  • Administer directly into the back of the mouth, or hide the tablet inside a small portion of wet food or meat.

  • In multi-cat households, treat all cats on the same day to eliminate environmental re-infestation through shared litter trays.

• Recommended Deworming Frequency:

  • Indoor Cats: Deworm once every 3 months (quarterly) as baseline preventative hygiene.

  • Outdoor / Hunting Cats: Deworm once every 4 to 6 weeks (or monthly), depending on local flea infestation pressure and veterinary risk assessment.

Safety Warnings, Precautions & Contraindications

• Weight & Age Restrictions: Do not administer to kittens under 6 weeks of age or cats weighing less than 2.0 kg (use the Small Cat & Kitten variant instead).

• Species Specificity: Do not use feline formulations in dogs; canines require distinct species-calibrated formulations.

• Drug Interactions: Avoid concurrent administration with other macrocyclic lactones (such as moxidectin) unless explicitly evaluated by your veterinarian (concurrent selamectin spot-on use is permissible under veterinary direction).

• Breeding & Pregnancy: Use in pregnant queens only following a clinical risk/benefit evaluation by your attending veterinarian. Safe for use in breeding and lactating queens.
