Active Composition & Mechanism of Action

• Active Ingredient: Selamectin 45 mg per 0.75 ml pipette (60 mg/ml concentration).

• Drug Class: Macrocyclic lactone / Avermectin derivative.

• How It Works: Selamectin is rapidly absorbed through the cat's skin into the bloodstream. Systemically, it prevents heartworm larvae from developing into adults and kills intestinal roundworms and hookworms. Over time, it concentrates in the sebaceous glands, steadily secreting onto the hair follicles and skin surface to eliminate biting fleas and ear mites upon contact.

Step-by-Step Directions for Use

1. Prepare the Pipette: Remove one single-dose tube from the protective package. Hold the pipette upright and firmly press the cap down until you hear a "click" (puncturing the protective seal). Remove the cap.

2. Part the Fur: Part the fur on your cat's neck at the base of the skull (just in front of the shoulder blades) until the skin is clearly visible.

3. Apply Directly to Skin: Place the tip of the pipette directly against the bare skin. Squeeze the tube firmly 3–4 times to empty the entire contents in one spot.

4. Finish Cleanly: Keep the pipette squeezed while lifting it away from the skin to avoid drawing liquid back into the tube. Check that the pipette is completely empty before discarding.
