Clinical Indications

• Treatment and 12-week sustained prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis and Ctenocephalides canis).

• Treatment and control of tick infestations (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus, Haemaphysalis spp.).

• Secondary prevention of tick-borne hemoprotozoan diseases (Canine Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis).

• Treatment and control of Demodectic mange (Demodex canis) and Sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei).

• Treatment of ear mite infestations (Otodectes cynotis).

• Prevention of flea-transmitted tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum) infections.

• Strategic management of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).

Dosage & Administration Guidelines

Administer orally once every 12 weeks (3 months) as directed by your veterinarian.

• Target Body Weight Range: Formulated for toy and very small dogs weighing 2 kg to 4.5 kg.

• Target Dose: Provides the recommended clinical dose of 25 mg to 56 mg Fluralaner per kg body weight.

• Administration Instructions:

  • Always give with food or immediately after a meal. Fluralaner's bioavailability is significantly higher when administered with food, and giving it alongside meals reduces the risk of mild gastrointestinal upset.

  • Offer the chewable tablet directly by hand as a treat, or mix it into a portion of regular food (or tuck inside paneer, chicken, or curd). Confirm that your dog swallows the full tablet.

  • Do not split or divide the tablet. Dosing is calibrated to the whole chew for this weight band.

• Bathing & Swimming: Zero restrictions. Dogs can be bathed, shampooed, or allowed to swim immediately before or after dosing without affecting efficacy.

Safety Warnings, Precautions & Storage

• For canine veterinary oral use only. Do NOT administer to cats. (Cat Bravecto is a distinct topical formulation).

• Weight & Age Minimums: Do not use on puppies under 8 weeks of age or dogs weighing less than 2 kg. Dogs weighing over 4.5 kg should receive the 250 mg variant.

• Neurological History: Isoxazoline-class medications should be used with caution in dogs with a history of seizures, epilepsy, or tremors. Consult your veterinarian for a full clinical evaluation prior to administration.

• Breeding, Pregnancy & Lactation: Clinically approved and safe for breeding males, pregnant bitches, and lactating mothers.

• Vomiting Management: If your dog vomits within 1 hour of administration, consult your veterinarian regarding re-dosing.
