Clinical Indications

• Acute and chronic diarrhea caused by mixed bacterial-protozoal gut infections.

• Dysentery characterized by mucoid, watery, or blood-streaked stools.

• Protozoal enteritis, particularly giardiasis and amoebiasis in puppies, kittens, and adult pets.

Dosage & Administration Guidelines

Administer strictly according to your veterinarian’s prescription. Measure precisely using a graduated oral syringe or measuring cap.

• Standard Dosage:

  • 5 ml per 10 kg body weight, administered orally twice daily (every 12 hours).

  • Cats and Small Dogs (<5 kg): Typically 1.25 ml to 2.5 ml twice daily as calculated by the vet based on body weight.

• Duration of Therapy: Standard treatment course is 3 to 5 consecutive days.

• Administration Tips:

  • Shake the bottle thoroughly before each dose.

  • Can be administered directly into the corner of the pet's mouth or mixed with a small spoonful of bland food (e.g., boiled chicken/rice).

  • Giving the medication with or after a light meal helps minimize transient nausea.
