Active Composition & Biological Mode of Action

• Proflavine Hemisulphate: An acridine antiseptic with targeted antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria. It intercalates into microbial DNA to prevent bacterial proliferation without impeding mammalian epithelial cell growth.

• Gamma Benzene Hexachloride (Gamma BHC / Lindane): A contact ectoparasiticide and insect repellent that acts on the nervous system of insect pests, providing maggoticidal protection and preventing flies from ovipositing in open wounds.

• Aqueous Spray Vehicle: Non-irritating, alcohol-safe base that atomizes evenly across irregular wound surfaces to promote rapid air-drying and tissue oxygenation.

Directions for Use & Application Protocol

1. Clean the Wound: Gently flush away dirt, exudate, and debris from the wound area using sterile saline or clean water, then pat dry.

2. Shake Well: Shake the canister thoroughly before spraying.

3. Spray Application: Hold the canister upright approximately 10 cm (4 inches) away from the wound. Spray a thin, even coat 2 to 3 times directly onto the affected site.

4. Frequency: Apply 2 to 3 times daily (BID–TID) until the wound has completely closed and healed (typically 3 to 7 days).

5. No Bandage Required: Designed to heal open to air. Prevent your pet from licking the site for 10–15 minutes post-application (use an Elizabethan collar or recovery cone if necessary) until the spray has completely dried.

• For External Topical Use Only: Avoid spraying into or near the pet’s eyes, nose, ears, mouth, and genital mucous membranes.

• Prevent Ingestion: Ensure the spray dries before allowing pets to groom the area. Ingestion of large amounts of wet spray must be prevented.

• Pressurized Canister: Flammable aerosol. Keep away from direct sunlight, open flames, hot surfaces, and temperatures exceeding 50°C. Do not puncture or incinerate even when empty.
