Active Composition & Biological Mechanism of Action

• Active Ingredients: Praziquantel + Pyrantel Embonate + Febantel (XL High-Strength Veterinary Formulation).

• Class: Broad-Spectrum Gastrointestinal Anthelmintic.

• Mechanism:

  • Praziquantel: Destabilizes tapeworm tegumental integrity, inducing irreversible tetanic contractions and facilitating host digestive clearance.

  • Pyrantel Embonate: Blocks acetylcholine degradation at neuromuscular junctions, causing paralysis of intestinal roundworms and hookworms.

  • Febantel: Probenzimidazole that converts into fenbendazole/oxfendazole inside the animal, depleting glycogen stores and inhibiting cell division in nematodes.

Standard dosage is 1 tablet per 35 kg body weight administered as a single oral dose.

Deworming Schedule:

• Routine Preventive Deworming: Administer once every 3 to 4 months as part of adult wellness care.

• Severe / Active Infestations: Administer initial dose, followed by a repeat dose 2 to 4 weeks later under veterinary guidance.

Administration Instructions

1. Offer the tablet directly by hand or place it at the back of your dog's tongue to swallow.

2. If your dog resists, crush or conceal the tablet inside moist food, peanut butter, cheese, or a piece of cooked meat.

3. Observe your pet for 10–15 minutes post-administration to confirm the full dose was swallowed.

4. No prior fasting or dietary restriction is needed before or after dosing.
