Step-by-Step Directions for Use

1. Saturate the Coat: Wet your dog’s entire body thoroughly with lukewarm water from neck to tail.

2. Apply & Lather: Apply Tick Free Shampoo liberally. Massage against the direction of hair growth to work up a rich, thick lather that reaches the skin surface—paying special attention to neck folds, behind the ears, armpits, paws, and underbelly.

3. The 5–10 Minute Rule (Crucial): Set a timer on your phone for 5 to 10 minutes. Keep the lather on the coat without rinsing. Rinsing prematurely (under 5 minutes) prevents the Cypermethrin from penetrating the tick cuticle and dramatically reduces efficacy. Prevent the dog from licking during this period.

4. Rinse Thoroughly: Flush the coat with clean running water until all lather is completely removed and runoff water runs crystal clear.

5. Drying & Clean Up: Towel-dry or blow-dry your dog thoroughly. Clean down the bathing area with warm water to discard washed-off parasites.

Recommended Bathing Frequency

• Severe / Heavy Infestations: 2 to 3 times per week until the infestation is completely under control.
