1. Wound Bed Cleansing: Gently flush the affected area with sterile saline solution, dilute antiseptic wash, or lukewarm water to clear dirt, hair clippings, and debris. Gently pat dry using clean sterile gauze or a lint-free cloth.

2. Cream Application: Squeeze a small amount of Lorexane Cream onto clean fingertips or a sterile applicator and spread a thin, uniform layer across the entire wound surface and surrounding edges.

3. Gentle Integration: Lightly smooth the cream across the margins to facilitate absorption. Avoid harsh rubbing on tender, painful skin.

4. Frequency: Apply 2 to 3 times daily until complete re-epithelialization and closure of the skin are observed.

5. Prevent Licking: Allow 5 to 10 minutes for the cream and local anesthetic to absorb. For pets with a habit of licking wounds, use an Elizabethan collar (e-collar), protective recovery suit, or light breathable dressing during the initial recovery period.
