• Administration Instructions:

  • Can be given directly by hand as a chewable treat, or disguised inside a small portion of wet food, chicken, paneer, or curd.

  • Ensure the dog swallows the full dose completely.

  • No starvation or fasting is needed before or after treatment.

• Routine Deworming Schedule:

  • Adult Dogs: Administer once every 3 months (quarterly) for routine maintenance.

  • Puppies: Follow a veterinarian-guided schedule (commonly every 2 to 4 weeks up to 12 weeks of age, then monthly until 6 months, after which they transition to quarterly adult tablets).

  • Confirmed Heavy Burden: Repeat after 14 days under veterinary supervision to clear newly emerging larvae.

Safety Warnings, Precautions & Storage

• Canine Use Only: Formulated specifically for canine physiology. Do NOT administer to cats.

• Puppy Precautions: For very young puppies under 2 kg or younger than 6–8 weeks, Savavet Kiwof Puppy Suspension is clinically preferred for precise, weight-calibrated liquid dosing.

• Pregnancy & Lactation: Do not use during the 1st and 2nd trimesters of pregnancy due to febantel's teratogenic risk at elevated doses. Administer to breeding bitches only under explicit veterinary advice.

• Drug Interactions: Do not combine with piperazine-based anthelmintics, as pyrantel and piperazine have opposing neuromuscular actions.

• Post-Dosing Observation: Tapeworms disintegrate internally and are rarely passed intact. Roundworms and hookworms may appear in feces over the subsequent 24–48 hours.

• Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from direct heat, sunlight, and moisture. Keep unused tablet halves sealed in the blister and use within 7 days. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
