Clinical & Preventative Indications

• Treatment and routine control of gastrointestinal roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina).

• Eradication of hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala) causing intestinal micro-hemorrhages and anemia.

• Treatment of whipworm infections (Trichuris vulpis) causing chronic colitis and mucous diarrhea.

• Complete elimination of tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia pisiformis).

• Routine quarterly deworming protocol for adult dogs and non-herding canine breeds.

Dosage & Administration Guidelines

Administer orally once as a single dose, or strictly as directed by your treating veterinarian:

• Standard Dosage Ratio: 1 Tablet per 10 kg body weight.

• Weight-Based Dosing Schedule:

  • Dogs 2.5 kg to 5.0 kg: 1/2 Tablet

  • Dogs 5.1 kg to 10.0 kg: 1 Tablet

  • Dogs 10.1 kg to 20.0 kg: 2 Tablets

  • Dogs 20.1 kg to 30.0 kg: 3 Tablets

  • Dogs 30.1 kg to 40.0 kg: 4 Tablets

• Administration Protocol:

  • Administer in the morning on an empty stomach for optimal absorption, or disguise within a small treat/wet food morsel if needed.

  • Ensure the dog swallows the complete dose; observe for several minutes.

• Routine Deworming Schedule:

  • Adult Dogs: Administer once every 3 months (quarterly) as baseline preventative health management.

Safety Warnings, Contraindications & MDR1 Gene Caution

• CRITICAL HERDING BREED CAUTION (MDR1 Gene Sensitivity): Do NOT administer to Collies, Australian Shepherds, Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties), Old English Sheepdogs, or related cross-breeds without prior MDR1 genetic screening or veterinary authorization. Dogs homozygous for the ABCB1 (MDR1) gene mutation lack a functioning blood-brain barrier P-glycoprotein pump, which can allow ivermectin to cross the central nervous system and cause severe neurotoxicity (tremors, ataxia, blindness, or coma).

• Pregnancy & Lactation: Not recommended for use in pregnant or lactating bitches or pediatric puppies under 3 months unless specifically authorized by a veterinarian.

• Potential Side Effects: Occasionally, transient salivation, mild lethargy, vomiting, or loose stools may occur within 24 hours of dosing as paralyzed worms are expelled.

• Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place away from heat, direct sunlight, and moisture. Keep blister strips sealed until use. Keep strictly out of reach of children and domestic animals.
