Clinical & Preventative Indications

• Treatment and control of mixed adult and larval gastrointestinal nematode infections (Roundworms, Hookworms, and Whipworms).

• Treatment and eradication of adult and immature cestode infections (Tapeworms), including flea tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum).

• Monthly prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis) where concurrent tapeworm control is indicated.

• Strategic early pediatric deworming protocols for puppies from 2 weeks of age.

• Routine quarterly preventative deworming for adult toy and small dog breeds (up to 10 kg).

Dosage & Administration Guidelines

Administer orally with or immediately after food. Always weigh your puppy or dog accurately prior to dosing:

• Administration Instructions:

  • Administer directly from the hand, place on the back of the tongue, or mix with a small portion of wet puppy food.

  • For tiny puppies, half-tablets can be crushed into a teaspoon of warm wet food to ensure the entire dose is ingested.

  • In multi-dog households, treat all dogs on the same day to eliminate environmental cross-contamination.

• Recommended Deworming Schedules:

  • Puppies (Early Protocol): Deworm at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age, then once monthly until 6 months of age.

  • Adult Small Dogs (>6 months): Deworm once every 3 months (quarterly) for routine preventative hygiene.

  • Heartworm Prevention Protocol: Administer once monthly throughout mosquito season under veterinary guidance.

Safety Warnings, Precautions & Breed Notes

• Minimum Age & Weight: Do not use on puppies under 2 weeks of age or weighing less than 0.5 kg.

• Species Specificity: Formulated specifically for dogs; do not administer to cats (use the cat-specific Milpro formulation).

• Collie-Type Breed Caution (MDR1 Gene): In Collies, Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, and Shelties, adhere strictly to the recommended weight-based dose and consult your veterinarian prior to administration.

• Pregnancy & Nursing: Consult your veterinarian prior to treating pregnant or lactating bitches.

• Adverse Effects: Adverse reactions are rare; transient lethargy, loose stools, or mild vomiting may occasionally occur within 24 hours as paralyzed worms are expelled.

• Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place in the original blister pack away from direct sunlight. Half-tablets must be kept in the original blister pocket and used within 6 months. Keep strictly out of reach of children and domestic pets.
