Clinical Dermatological Indications

Directions for Use & Bathing Protocol

For topical canine dermal use only under veterinary guidance:

1. Thorough Wetting: Completely saturate the dog's hair coat with lukewarm water from the back of the neck to the tail (protect eyes and ears).

2. Lather Application: Dispense 10 ml to 30 ml of Clinar-M (adjust based on breed size and coat thickness) along the spine and affected areas. Work into a rich lather, ensuring it reaches the skin.

3. MANDATORY CONTACT TIME: Allow the lather to remain on the skin and coat for a full 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing. (This contact time is required for cypermethrin to paralyze parasites and for miconazole to penetrate fungal cell walls).

4. Rinse & Dry: Rinse thoroughly with running lukewarm water until all traces of shampoo are removed. Towel dry or blow-dry on a cool setting.

5. Recommended Frequency:

   • Active Infestations / Fungal Flares: Use 2 to 3 times weekly for 3 to 4 weeks (or as advised by your vet).

   • Maintenance / Preventive Bathing: Reduce to once weekly or once every 14 days as required.

Critical Safety Warnings, Contraindications & Storage

• CRITICAL FELINE CONTRAINDICATION (DEADLY TO CATS): DO NOT USE ON CATS. Cats are deficient in the hepatic glucuronidation enzyme pathway required to metabolize cypermethrin and other synthetic pyrethroids. Using this product on cats, or allowing cats to groom dogs with wet shampoo, can cause severe pyrethroid toxicity (hyper-salivation, muscle tremors, seizures, and death).

• Puppy Age Restriction: Do not use on young puppies under 12 weeks (3 months) of age unless specifically authorized by a veterinarian.

• Ocular & Mucous Membrane Protection: Avoid contact with the dog's eyes, nose, mouth, and open deep wounds. If contact occurs, flush immediately with copious clean water.

• Accidental Ingestion: Prevent dogs from licking the lather during the 5–10 minute contact period.

• Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and food items. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Keep strictly out of reach of children and domestic pets.
