Dosage & Application Protocol

For cutaneous external spray application only:

• Standard Dosage Rate:

  • Apply 3 ml to 6 ml per kg of body weight (equivalent to 6 to 12 pump depressions per kg of body weight using the 80ml bottle pump).

  • Use the higher dose rate (6 ml/kg) for animals with long, thick, or double coats to ensure the spray reaches the skin.

• Step-by-Step Application Technique:

  1. Wear household rubber gloves. Apply in a well-ventilated room or outdoors.

  2. Hold the bottle upright at a distance of 10 to 20 cm from the animal's body.

  3. Spray against the natural lay of the coat (ruffle the hair with your gloved hand) to ensure the mist thoroughly reaches the dermal surface.

  4. Ensure complete coverage across the back, flanks, abdomen, legs, and paws.

  5. Head & Face Application: Do NOT spray directly into the eyes or face. Spray the product onto your gloved hand and gently rub it around the ears, muzzle, and neck, carefully avoiding the eyes and mouth.

  6. Drying: Allow your pet to air-dry naturally. Do not towel-dry or blow-dry with heat, as heat reduces the reservoir binding of fipronil.

  7. Prevent the animal from licking the coat for 10–15 minutes until completely dry.

Safety Warnings, Precautions & Storage

• External Use Only: Do not spray into eyes, mouth, or open wounds. If accidental eye contact occurs, flush immediately with copious clean water.

• Flammable Formulation: Contains an alcohol base. Keep away from heat, open flames, electrical outlets, or lit cigarettes during application until the coat is completely dry.

• Bathing Precautions: Do not bathe or shampoo your pet with soap 48 hours prior to or 48 hours after application to maintain optimal skin surface lipid levels for fipronil binding.

• Licking Caution: If a pet licks the wet spray, transient hyper-salivation (drooling) may occur due to the bitter taste of the excipient; this resolves spontaneously.

• Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place protected from direct sunlight and open flames. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
