Directions for Use & Bathing Protocol
For cutaneous topical wash only under veterinary guidance:
Coat Preparation: Wet the pet's coat thoroughly with lukewarm water from the back of the neck down to the tail (protect eyes and ears).
First Application (Cleansing Wash): Apply a moderate amount of Sebolytic shampoo, lather gently across the entire body, and rinse immediately to remove surface grease, excess sebum, and environmental grime.
Second Application (Therapeutic Bath): Apply a generous amount of Sebolytic, massaging deeply into the coat down to the skin to create a rich lather, paying close attention to greasy areas (neck, groin, underbelly, and tail base).
MANDATORY CONTACT TIME (5 to 10 Minutes): Allow the lather to remain on the skin for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing. (This dwell time is critical for salicylic acid to soften hyperkeratotic squames and for zinc/B6 to interact with sebaceous glands).
Rinsing & Drying: Rinse thoroughly with running lukewarm water until the rinse runs completely clear. Towel dry or dry using a cool air blower.
Bathing Frequency:
Active Seborrheic Flare-ups: Bath 2 to 3 times weekly for 3 to 4 weeks.
Maintenance Routine: Reduce to once weekly or once every 14 days as advised by your veterinarian.
