Directions for Use & Application Protocol

1. Clean the Ear Canal First: Before applying medication, clean the ear canal using a gentle pet ear cleanser to flush out excessive wax, pus, and debris. Allow the canal to dry for 10–15 minutes.

2. Instill Otisoothe Drops: Shake the bottle well. Tilt your pet’s head and gently instill 5 to 10 drops directly into the affected ear canal (adjusting volume based on pet size).

3. Massage the Base: Gently massage the base of the ear (cartilage canal) for 30–60 seconds. You should hear a soft squishing sound, which confirms the drops are dispersing deep into the vertical and horizontal canals.

4. Natural Shaking: Allow your pet to shake their head to loosen deeper debris. Wipe away any excess fluid or dislodged wax from the outer ear flap (pinna) using a clean cotton pad. Never insert cotton swabs (Q-tips) deep into the ear canal.

5. Frequency & Duration: Apply twice daily (BID) for 7 to 14 days, or follow the exact duration prescribed by your veterinarian.

Safety Warnings, Contraindications & Precautions

• Check Tympanic Membrane Integrity: Do not use if the eardrum (tympanic membrane) is suspected or confirmed to be ruptured, as otic solutions can cause vestibular or ototoxic complications if they enter the middle or inner ear. Have your vet examine the ear with an otoscope prior to use.

• External Otic Use Only: Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth.

• Discontinue if Irritation Occurs: If you notice sudden hearing loss, severe head-tilt, balance issues, or worsening redness, discontinue use immediately and consult your veterinarian.

• Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from freezing and direct sunlight. Keep the dropper nozzle clean and tightly capped. Keep safely out of reach of children and household pets.
