Directions for Use & Bathing Protocol

For topical cutaneous wash only under direct veterinary supervision:

1. Pre-Wash Wetting: Wet the pet's coat thoroughly with lukewarm water from the back of the neck down to the tail (protect eyes and ears).

2. Shampoo Application: Apply an adequate quantity of Micodin Shampoo directly onto the wet coat. Work into a rich lather, ensuring it penetrates down to the skin level. Pay extra attention to commonly affected areas:

   • Groin and underbelly folds

   • Armpits (axillary regions)

   • Interdigital paw webs

   • Neck folds and around tail base

3. MANDATORY CONTACT TIME (5 to 10 Minutes): Allow the lather to remain on the skin for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing. (This dwell time is critical for miconazole and chlorhexidine to penetrate microbial cell walls). Keep the pet distracted to prevent shivering or licking.

4. Thorough Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly with running lukewarm water until the rinse water runs completely clear of lather.

5. Drying: Towel dry thoroughly or blow-dry on a cool setting.

6. Treatment Frequency:

   • Active Flare-ups / Infections: Bathe 2 to 3 times weekly for 3 to 4 consecutive weeks.

   • Maintenance Routine: Reduce to once weekly or once every 2 weeks as advised by your veterinarian.
