Uses / Indications

Toxo Mox Tablets may be prescribed by a veterinarian for susceptible bacterial infections, including:

• Urinary tract infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Wounds and abscesses

• Bacterial skin infections such as pyoderma

• Respiratory tract infections

• Pneumonia and bronchitis caused by susceptible bacteria

• Dental and periodontal infections

• Certain gastrointestinal bacterial infections

• Other susceptible bacterial infections where Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid are considered appropriate

How It Works

Amoxicillin is a beta-lactam antibiotic that interferes with bacterial cell-wall synthesis, resulting in bacterial death.

Clavulanic Acid inhibits certain beta-lactamase enzymes produced by bacteria, helping protect Amoxicillin from degradation and extending its activity against susceptible beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.

Directions for Use

Administer orally according to the dose prescribed by your veterinarian.

The appropriate dosage depends on the animal's species, body weight, infection and clinical condition.

The tablet may be administered directly or with a small amount of food if recommended by your veterinarian.

Important Precautions
