Clinical Indications

• Dermatology & Soft Tissue Infections: Superficial and deep pyoderma, juvenile impetigo, interdigital furunculosis, infected hot spots, cellulitis, and feline bite abscesses (Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, Pasteurella multocida) .

• Respiratory Tract Infections: Feline Upper Respiratory Infection (URI / cat flu secondary infections), canine infectious tracheobronchitis (kennel cough), bronchitis, and bronchopneumonia .

• Periodontal & Oral Infections: Gingivitis, periodontitis, alveolar bone abscesses, and stomatitis (Bacteroides, Fusobacterium, Streptococcus) .

• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Acute bacterial cystitis and urogenital infections caused by susceptible E. coli, Proteus, and Klebsiella strains .

Reconstitution & Handling Instructions

1. Loosen Granules: Tap the bottom of the bottle gently on a flat surface to loosen the dry powder .

2. Add Cooled Boiled Water: Slowly add freshly boiled and cooled drinking water up to approximately half the bottle.

3. Shake Well: Tightly secure the cap and shake vigorously until all granules are dissolved into a uniform suspension .

4. Top Up to Fill Line: Add water precisely up to the 30 ml mark indicated on the label and shake thoroughly again .

5. Always Shake Before Dosing: Shake the bottle thoroughly before drawing each dose to ensure uniform active drug distribution.

Dosage & Administration Guidelines

Administer orally twice daily (every 12 hours) strictly as directed by your veterinarian:

• Standard Clinical Dosage Rate: 12.5 mg to 25 mg combined actives (Amoxicillin + Clavulanate) per kg body weight every 12 hours .

• Reconstituted Liquid Ratio (~45.7 mg total actives per ml):

  • Approx. 0.25 ml to 0.3 ml per kg body weight every 12 hours (at standard 12.5–13.75 mg/kg dosing) .
