Dosage & Administration Guidelines

Administer strictly according to your veterinarian’s written prescription and body weight calculation.

• Target Therapeutic Dose:

  • Dogs: 5 mg / kg body weight once daily (equivalent to 0.05 ml per kg body weight).

  • Cats: 7 mg / kg body weight once daily (equivalent to 0.07 ml per kg body weight).

• Administration Protocol:

  • Timing: Administer on an empty stomach (either 2 hours before or 2 hours after feeding) for maximum bioavailability.

  • For Cats: The oral solution can be administered directly into the mouth or mixed with a small portion of appetizing wet food (ensure the cat consumes the entire medicated portion immediately).

  • Syringe Use: Shake the bottle gently. Use the supplied graduated dosing syringe/dropper to measure the exact milliliter volume prescribed.

• Treatment Course & Tapering:

  • Initial Phase: Administer once daily for 4 to 6 weeks until clinical signs improve significantly.

  • Tapering Phase: Once clinical control is established, your veterinarian may reduce administration frequency to every other day, and eventually to twice weekly for long-term maintenance.

Safety Warnings, Precautions & Storage

• Prescription Mandatory: This is a potent immunomodulating drug. Use only under close veterinary supervision.

• Screen for Pre-Existing Conditions: In cats, screen for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), and Toxoplasma gondii prior to initiating therapy. Do not administer to animals with active systemic infections or neoplasia.

• Vaccination Guidance: Avoid administering modified live vaccines immediately prior to, during, or shortly after cyclosporine therapy.

• Side Effect Profile: Mild, self-limiting gastrointestinal signs (transient vomiting or loose stools) can occur during the first few days of therapy. If vomiting occurs, consult your vet; administering with a small spoonful of food or chilling the solution can help reduce nausea.

• Storage: Store between 15°C and 25°C in a dry place. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Protect from direct sunlight. Once opened, use within 2 months. Keep out of reach of children and household pets.
